How we handle your information.
Cornerstone Landscaping and Lawn Care, LLC, doing business as Cornerstone Outdoor Living ("Cornerstone," "we," "us"), designs and builds patios, walls, fire features, outdoor kitchens, and full backyards on Lake Norman, North Carolina. This policy explains what we collect through cornerstonelkn.com and in the course of a project, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the site you agree to it.
1. What we collect
Information you give us when you fill out the form, call, text, or email: your name, phone number, email address, the address of the property, what you are looking to build, and the messages you send us.
Information collected automatically when you visit the site: IP address and the approximate location it implies, browser and device type, the pages you viewed, and the site that sent you here.
Photographs of your property, taken with your permission during a consultation or a build, to design and document the work. Use of those photos in our marketing happens only with your written permission.
We do not ask for, and ask you not to send, sensitive personal information such as government ID numbers, health information, or payment card numbers through the site.
2. How we use it
To respond to you, schedule the phone call and the in-person consultation, prepare your estimate and design, run and invoice the build, and follow up about the work you asked about.
To send confirmations, reminders, and follow-ups by email or text message (see section 4).
To operate and improve the site, and to comply with the law.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.
3. Who we share it with
Service providers that do work for us: the customer relationship and messaging platform that runs our forms, texts, and email (GoHighLevel), our website host, and our email provider. They may use your information only to do that work for us.
Professional advisors, such as our accountant or attorney, when reasonably necessary.
Authorities when the law requires it, such as a subpoena or court order.
A successor if the business is sold or merged, on the same terms as this policy.
Your phone number and your text-message consent are never shared with or sold to anyone for their marketing.
4. Text messages
If you give us your mobile number on the form or in conversation, we may text you about your inquiry and your project: a reply to your form, appointment confirmations, reminders, scheduling changes, and follow-ups.
Consent. By submitting the form with your phone number you agree to receive those texts from Cornerstone Outdoor Living. Consent is not a condition of buying anything from us.
Frequency and rates. Message frequency depends on your project. Message and data rates may apply.
Opt out. Reply STOP to any message and you will get one final text confirming it, then nothing further unless you opt back in. You can also tell us by phone or email and we will honor it promptly, and in any case within ten business days.
Help. Reply HELP to any message, or contact us using the details in section 9.
5. Email
We send email about your inquiry and your project, and, if you have agreed to it, occasional seasonal notes about caring for a yard. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing from marketing does not stop the emails you need about a job in progress.
6. Cookies and analytics
The site may use cookies and similar tools to remember your visit and to measure how the site is used, including advertising measurement from Google. You can block cookies in your browser; the site will still work.
7. How long we keep it
Inquiry information is kept as long as we are talking with you about a project and for a reasonable time after, so we can pick the conversation back up. Client records are kept as long as needed for warranty, accounting, and legal purposes.
8. Your choices
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, subject to what we must keep for warranty and legal reasons. Contact us using the details below.
The site is for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
